Hello, I am looking for Paula Polma and Lan Buttery. Today's date is August 11, 2025. I have tried reaching them at their property, which is a gated community called THE PENINSULA, located in Rowlett, Texas. Due to the gate, I was unable to gain entry. Paula and Lan refused to grant me access when I contacted them. I have left 2 written notes at the gate for them to contact me, and I have sent letters to their Rowlett address. Neither has responded. I am trying to resolve this without filing a lawsuit, but I am prepared to take this to court if need be. These 2 ladies owe me over $100,000. I am a small business owner, and they owe me for unpaid commercial lease payments, unpaid utilities, and property damage (they purposely flooded my building and tore up the interior walls). Both are involved in running illicit massage parlors and *** services in the greater DFW area, which I did not initially know. Both have an extensive history of liens, bad debt, and lawsuits. The address they provided me is 150 Peninsula Drive, Rowlett, TX 75089. But, I have confirmed that they also use the following addresses: 175 Peninsula Drive and 200 Peninsula Drive both of Rowlett, TX 75089. The past employment information we found for them is Citadel Broadcasting and Tax Seasons. Okay, so my husband wants me to add that the house does not meet CODE. He said there is a spaghetti of electrical wiring and conduit hanging out of the wall and coming out of the ground by the pool and garage. Nothing is secured or safe, especially since its right by the pool. He said the stove is heavily used and looks like it came out of an old restaurant. Watch out for the foundation, the cement is cracked everywhere and water is coming up through the cracks in the garage floor. I know the housing market is hot right now, but this house is ridiculous. Pre-covid, this house would have been sold as a fixer up for under $450,000.

To add to the other review about this property, I would like to say that it is just plain awful. It is probably the most dangerous house I have been in (at least in America). There is a massive retaining wall by the pool with nothing to keep you from falling off the cliff. The pool is not fenced so good luck with homeowners insurance or keeping the neighborhood kids from suing you. Surrounding the pool is a concrete patio with uneven drop offs and steps that go no where. What's up with the pool being right next to the driveway and garage? Maybe the pool is really a car wash. Don't even get me going on the death stairs or uneven floors inside the house. There is like sharp stuff on some of the doors and door knobs. Sharp enough you didn't want to touch them again. It was so hot in the house that my makeup was melting off. The realtor said the aircon was on, but the thermostat showed it was 94 degrees. Is this listing a joke at $3.4M?

You can't get a mortgage on this house. It has structural foundation issues. Look at the foundation in the garage. HUGE uneven cracks. Look at the driveway. HUGE cracks and chunks of concrete falling off the size of a football. Look at the retaining wall. HUGE cracks big enough to stick you dik in. I wasted nearly a month with an offer on this crappy property before my inspector flagged it. Seller is a conman by the name of Juan Favela. He is well known in DFW and on this website.
