as soldiers we have names for everything and everybody we live in a world with 3 letter designations and shorten phrases. We call the lab people lab people lab monkeys because its usually a circus more often then not always a crazy disaster. The lab is one of the most hated places in all of Dallas Texas. Today was different. I was in an out in less then 5. I wanted to give each of them a big hug reach in my pocket and give them all a fat raise as I am sure the VA is shortchanging them. THEY FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT the changes they have made are SPECTACULAR. 10 STARS FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE LAB. THANK YOU

My appointment today with Dr. Navarro was awful. Dr.Navarro is taking over Dr. Nottingham's patients & told me he didn't like going behind another physician's work & he had his patients too. Why agree to take on other patients if you don't go behind another physician’s work? He didn't read my chart before my appointment. He had the nerves to ask did I think he would take me to the operating room & haven't developed a rapport with me. I've completed so much testing for my condition & Dr. Navarro made me feel as I wasn't worthy of his time or GREAT health care because of my skin color. He figured he could tell me anything & I would go for it! The sad part of the entire visit, Dr. Navarre, keep telling me he would ensure I receive my$35 co-pay back. He arrived late to the appointment & wanted to spend 2 minutes with me to walk & head to his next patient. Dr. Navarro took an oath to provide health care to individuals but he only cares about you if your skin isn't brown/black. He took me off medication & didn't bother to tell me. The medications I was on where helpful to me & he didn't explain why he was taking me off them. I asked at check out desk before leaving & they called the back & was told he only wanted me on 3 meds. The meds he took me off were for depression which I suffer a lot from & gave me nothing to replace them. I did not find out until I saw the paperwork that was sent home with me. Did not give us time to ask any questions. I do not plan at going back at this time. Have tests scheduled that I plan on canceling. I do not want to go to a doctor that does not discuss our health plans with us.
