Many teachers are great, but others are a bit...off. A teacher kissed me on the cheek when I was sad. I knew it was out of love, but it was EXTREMELY infantilizing. There's also TERRIBLE communication among staff. I understand that there are about 1,000 students; the school's not terribly small, but there are much larger public schools that manage themselves more efficiently. Stop acting like you're a picturesque, award-winning, Ivy League padder, and address the problems among the staff. Stop the bad eggs from becoming narcissists. If anything, you will make your school's academic performance even better.
