Andrew Hoogheem is a fantastic English professor. Teaching ' English Comp I and II', he has a very unique, open-minded, and yet professional take on the work required as well as the discussions throughout the class. He brings a fun aspect to the class and respects student's personal thoughts and opinions. He also responds very quickly to questions and wants to see students succeed. So if you ever have the chance to take a class with him, I would highly recommend doing so :)

She genuinely wants her students to succeed and helps to make that happen. I learned a lot from her and enjoyed her class. She genuinely cares about her students. I wish she taught more classes in my major. Loved her!
