Verizon Wireless, Retail Sales Representative, Southfield, MI

Rating: 2 out of 5.

High goals and most customers are service customers that you have to waste your time with. Promise you great flexibility but management and retail reps are not on the same page.

Manager was wonderful and team members were helpful. You are busy taking phone calls from customers.

District Manager, Spencer’s Gifts, Charlotte, NC, 28277

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Bad communication, no empathy, no advocacy and strict. Gets on lower management as if they are being paid enough to deal with being berated. Doesn’t even Acknowledge sales associates - treats them as if they don’t matter. Everyone I know who has left this company, has left because dealing with said District Manager takes too big a toll on their mental well-being. She is not helpful, but claims to be when in reality she is a burden and gets in the way of the task at hand. She sets up her office in the back room, making it impossible for associates to feel comfortable on their break. Ultimately she contributes to a hostile work environment and makes everyone uncomfortable.

Horrible company to work for. They schedule you on days you’re not supposed to work. Suspend you if you don’t show up. You clean The restaurant because they are too cheap to hire a professional cleaning crew like many other restaurants. I mean cleaning out dead insects out of window panes , dusting and detailing parts of the kitchen and so on. The managers inside are even worse because they condone it and if you argue you are ostracized immediately. Oh yes in the kitchen is absolutely filthy and there are bugs and mice and several other terrible things going on in it.

Very normal person. Interesting, easy to talk to and very human which can be unusual for tech person. If I had to work to find something bad it might be that he's too busy. He's prone to same prejudices as any white male, but willing to consider other perspectives.

One of the best poker faces I've ever seen. You can't ever be sure if there's anything actually going through his mind when you speak with him or not. He's like a statue. You wouldn't think that this is a big deal, but I promise you, it is. Good luck if you find yourself working for him.

Hello. ? I’m Rebecca and I’ve worked a few times for Mr. Leingang. I LOVE working with him. He cares so much about everyone other than himself, makes sure the projected estimates are always met, and is always supportive during frustrating times. He’s one of the only men I’ve worked for who doesn’t yell, but rather talks it out so everyone is happy. I really enjoy his company and time. Thanks Me. Leingang!
