100% true. He's just a normal guidance counselor and a kind man. There is so much dark humor in the fact that a freaking guidance counselor became such a polarizing figure that these people were at each other's throats--constantly spreading lies and threats. I don't even want to reiterate their sentiments because while hilariously melodramatic, it is also horrifying that someone could send so much hate to people online they don't even know.

Judging by this JoyRate alone, people *are* way too easily offended by Mr. Englerth. People were also way too easily offended by anyone who disagreed with anything the man said or did. Both sides are flawed. We live in America, not a dictatorship. Kids and parents should be entitled to their opinions on a staff member, as long as they are not harassing or glorifying him (aka harassing anyone who disagrees with anything he says or does). Thankfully, some decent, reasonable people entered and *respectfully* pointed out the irrationality on both sides, and sharing their own, non-hateful views. Way to go. You set the record straight on Mr. Englerth and how this site should be used.
