You might as well not even have him as your Dr. you wind up taking care of yourself. He can’t even read tests results. I understand that you might need a specialist now & then, but when a Dr. can’t even diagnose a simple thrush infection which is visible by just looking in your mouth, you know he not good. Especially when he gives you meds that don’t even relate to symptoms you’re describing to him. Never gets back to you when you ask a question on Mycare.

So, I showed up on time for my 2:30 appointment. I wait and wait and wait-finally at about 4:05 I get called into the room to see the physician. Now let me preface this by saying, I am a single mom of a special needs child and have very little time to myself, nevermind time to go to a very necessary doctor's appointment. But because I have been getting headaches, I cancelled several other things (like working) to see the doctor. Ok when he enters the room it is 4:27. I explained to him that I had been here since my scheduled 2:30 time and that I had to leave by 4:30 to pick my son up from tutoring. He explained that he fell behind in his schedule and apologized but said he needed me to have more time if I wanted to be seen. Ironic right? He then walks me to his secretary, instructs her to return my co pay and hands my chart stating, "she only has 3 minutes'. No sir...I actually had 2 hours; you just happen to finally come in when I only had 3 minutes. The unprofessional thing here is how he: 1 switched the burden of responsibility to me; and 2. doctors who overbook seem greedy. They get the money but have no respect for the patient's time. Tell me what would have happened had I not shown up for the appointment. Correct-he would have charged me for wasting his time.

Called due to abnormal lab results. I was worked in but DR's nurse told me to come at 10am. I arrived at 9:45. The time I was scheduled for was 11:00 am. I'm sick and tired of being told to come extra early for no reason. It's now 11:15 and I'm still waiting. Poor organization.

DR MCQUURE CALLS YOU A DRUG ADDICT IF YOU ADK FOR ANXIETY MEDICATION. CALLS YOU FAT AND SAYS DRINK DIET COKE. THE LOWEST IF THE LOW. SORRY FOR THE TYPOS BUT I HAVE ALOT TO DO. With the shutdown in March 2020, Mayo closed and Dr. Hook abandoned me; stopping my cancer care. When Mayo reopened, Dr. Hook said he wasn't going to give me certain care he'd promised and I'd die. Mayo and their doctors are known in MN for only caring about profit. Since Mayo shut and its doctors abandoned their patients, and Mayo "had to" care for the poor with Covid, Mayo and its doctors lost much profit. My insurance didn't pay well, so Dr. Hook decided to let me die. When I challenged Dr. Hook's decision, he retaliated by forever banning me from Mayo Clinic. The MN Dept of Health told me that Dr. Hook's and Mayo's actions were "morally wrong" but legal in MN. MDH said that Mayo and its doctors are known for turning away and neglecting patients. The Commissioner's office of the MN Dept of Human Services told me Mayo's known for banning patients. I think Dr. Hook took advantage of this to punish me for complaining.Stay away from Dr. Hook and Mayo if you want to get well and live.
