Libby Held, Holly High School, Holly, MI, 48442

Rating: 1 out of 5.

As a parent I have absolutely loved every teacher my child has had in this district. However, junior year Mrs Held has changed that. I am truly trying to find value in her, but it just isn’t there. She is rude to kids, she decides on day one how they will do (and admitted that to another parent). My child asked for some additional understanding, and her response was just to send the ruberik not actually answering the question. When she went back to her for further detail, Mrs Held responded back “college level”. While this is an honors class and all the kids have been in honors English classes since 7th grade that are in the class nowhere in the course description does it say college level and this is the class that was the option of you didn’t want to take AP but still had to stay in honors because average level wasn’t an option based on prior year course selection. She really needs to go retire and get a job at a community college if that’s what she feels she is capable of.

mrs. davis, troy high school, troy, OH, 45373

Rating: 2 out of 5.

She is a really great person and I really appreciate her, but she has not been a very good teacher. As a class, we have not learned a lot and she has been getting on us for doing horrible on her test, but because she doesn’t teach us.

Mrs. Anne Muoio, Pittsford Mendon High School, Pittsford, NY

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Her lectures: incredible. Her activities (especially Harkness Discussions): outstanding! Her...almost everything else: awesome. Her grading: relatively forgiving at times, harshest I've seen in my life at others. I'm so sorry to be rude, but something needs to be said...it's really making kids stressed about their GPA. Sometimes, it literally seems like she's read someone's paper, is ready to give them 99-100% but relentlessly searches for anything else to pick on and docks their grade. Again, I hate to be rude, but my friends kept talking about how "scary" her grading has been. Mrs. Muoio, if you see this...first off, hi! Thank you for forcing me to consider my place in the world more deeply. Your teaching is really rad! :) I know you probably just want to push kids who are already strong writers to be stronger and prepare them for the future, but some of these kids genuinely could benefit from getting into a prestigious university. Maybe, they could take those amazing lessons you and the other great teachers at this school have taught them and improve the world, but they might need a leg up academically to get there. A T10 college could give them that. Unfortunately, the kids might need super high grades to do so--even if they're in honors or AP classes. Acceptance rates have been declining for decades. The difference between 98-100 and a 92-94 may not seem substantial to you, but to Princeton, the 92-94 might get rejected because the 98-100 has an edge. I hope you'll at least take this into account from now on. I know you don't want to disadvantage kids in their college and career search; as a teacher, you must know how vital this generation is to the future of our world. Mendon is super highly ranked because the Mendon kids who apply themselves are super brilliant. Those kids deserve a bright future and a little less stress on their plates. Everyone I know has a consensus that your lessons and one-on-one teaching are incredible, so in my humble opinion, you don't need to be picky in your grading to make your points clear. :)

Virginia Flanagan, Manhasset Middle School, Manhasset, NY, 11030

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Mrs. Flanagan has been teaching her 8th grade regents living environment class from home and has been tormenting her students. My son has come home crying on mutiple days begging for me to remove him from her class. She lacks authority and has to take responsibility for her actions. Her absence in class has lead to her failing her students virtually due to their social agenda and not based off their overall performance in class. She has had countless students, parents and school staff members contacting her asking when she will stop ruining lives, assigning an overload of incorrect assignments and distributing the piece of young 13 and 14 year old students. The students at Manhasset high school and middle school have already faced enough struggles whether it be the recent sexual assault allegations against super intent Vincent Beutera, lack of support from teachers or absence of the real joy and memories shared by Manhasset students years before and Mrs Flanagan should not put another thing on their plate.

Lori Solit, Council Rock HS South, Holland, PA, 18977

Rating: 1 out of 5.

To start, I have never been so disappointed with the a service from any staff member in the Council Rock School district. The service that I have received from this guidance counselor is far below expectations. This year, debatably the most important year of my high school career, has been the worst year that I have ever endured. My classes have been messed up twice, both due to Mrs. Solit’s mistakes. I had one request going into this year and it was completely disregarded. The lack of care from her side has led me to be beyond stressed, and has even led to anxiety. From conversations with several other students and previous students of hers, I have become aware that I am not the only one who has had these issues with her. It has gotten to the point where my parents are concerned and have stepped in. My parents have attempted to speak with Mrs. Solit more than two times (ranging from phone calls to emails), and have gotten no response. Her “advice” contradicts everything I have ever been told. She has practically told me to give up. My advice to any student or parent that enters CR South and heard that she is your counselor is to request a change. I hope that this information is helpful to anyone who comes across it... good luck

Mrs.Airs, Calapooia middle school, Albany, OR

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Ok so mrs.airs is my principle and omg i swear something is wrong with her. She dress codes EVERYTHING. Now bra straps will be dress coded. "Well im sorry that a Bra strap distracts you,you pervert". From what i know bra straps dont turn people on,and i cant control if my bra strap showes or not bc it likes to fall off my shoulder. And i havent met 1 person in my school except the teachers who like her.I swear that principle is retarded
