Ms. McGarrity, I.S.187, Brooklyn, NY, 11219

Rating: 1 out of 5.

As a current HS student, I've realized how much Ms. McGarrity has truly screwed me over. I had her during online classes and she was an absolute nightmare, to say the least. No 12 year old child should have to be constantly told that they are "stupid" or berated daily like how she did to me and my peers. As a technology teacher, she should've known that there would be many technical errors when it came to online learning and that it isn't her students' fault. Instead, she would guilt trip us into thinking it was our fault... I truly wouldn't wish anyone to have her as their teacher and I feel sorry for whoever has had her. It's surprising that she still has her job, I'm honestly not sure why considering what an awful person she is to her students.

She is my homeroom teacher and I love her so much. She’s so sweet and understanding and she’s SO GORGEOUS. Like she’s pretty inside and out. Idc if homeroom isn’t a subject, it’s on my top 3 favs bru. Although homeroom might seem a little boring for some people, it’s literally so good when Ms. Gambino is there. I just love her so much

It’s 2025 now, and she’s still here in this school torturing poor children. I’m surprised her chair hasn’t broke down yet. No kid deserves to be tortured by this obese fat ***, she still makes up those dumb *** stories. I can’t believe is 187 is #12 rank in Brooklyn best middle schools.

I cant believe I'm saying this but I deadass miss Ms. McGarrity. Like holy *** 6th and 7th grade me was so ungrateful. Because PLEASE he wont accept *** from anyone. He's sexist, he grades *** in the worst ways possible, and everyone I know is either failing or has an average below a 95. Like pls what happened to having a decent *** technology teacher? He also thinks we're incompetent and we don't know how to make a google search but expects us to memorize every part of a plane. Like no I dont give a *** about what the wing of a plane does and I dont want to use pages on apple. Like that *** is so outdated PLEASE ain't no one uses pages... It's also so hard to use like... why can't we just use google docs...?? Yeah thats the end of my yap session, peace, and to any 6th and 7th graders reading this, be grateful.

Reminder that none of the words she saids to you and the way she is overly strict and disciplinary isn't relevant to real life in any way. She is a sad human being that projects her own problems onto poor 12 and 13 year olds. If she yells at you, don't take it personally, please, I took it personally for many years and needlessly suffered over nothing. Just remember that she is a NPC bot who is upset about her own lack of control of her life, so she powertrips to control little kids. She has no one, not even the fiance she claims (a lie she's been saying for over a decade). So just feel pity for this sad human being. Don't take anything personally. Nothing you do is your fault, just be yourself and never let her dictate your own worth. Remember you can always report her to Mrs. Sadiki if she does something unfair to your grade. Then report her again once she becomes passive aggressive to you afterwards for reporting her. It doesn't matter, just mention how she bullies kids and wrecks their self esteem.

She pretty much bullied me a few years ago when I was in middle school. I am in college now. I reported her to Mr. Berman but nothing was really done. It's funny how she just absolutely rips apart an 11 year old kid for simply writing an email slightly wrong (as if an 11 year old kid knows how to write professional emails). I have forgiven her in my heart but I still want to make this statement. No teacher in my life has caused the amount of psychological suffering that she has inflicted onto me. Gravitational pull is the force that a massive object uses to attract other objects toward it. The more mass an object has, the stronger its gravitational pull becomes. For example, Earth has a strong gravitational pull that keeps people, water, and the atmosphere from floating away into space. Very massive objects like the Sun or planets pull nearby objects into orbit, such as moons or smaller planets. Gravitational pull also depends on distance—the closer two objects are, the stronger the pull between them. This force plays an important role in keeping the universe organized and holding celestial bodies together.
