Mr. James Englerth, Pittsford Mendon High School, 472 Mendon Road, Pittsford, NY 14534

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Some reviewers are hurling super inappropriate remarks at Mr. Englerth; other reviewers are sharing (hopefully authentic) personal experiences, and others are bashing people simply for critiquing him. I can confirm that he is not "pompous" or malicious or any of these horrible adjectives that the haters in the first camp are throwing at him. However, the people saying he discouraged them from their ambitions might have a point. I do not think they're "snowflakes who should work at Taco Bell," as some people in the last group I described are saying. I, for one, was advised not to enter several AP classes, even though my teachers recommended me for them, and now, I really regret listening to Mr. Englerth. AP Lang, APUSH, and AP Lit could have taken my writing skills to another level. Not to mention, they would have improved my college application. Not saying they would have gotten me into friggin' NYU or the like, but they would've helped with admissions to other mid-to-high tier colleges and scholarships. Which matter. Obviously, it is ultimately my fault for placing too much trust in one guy, but his job literally is guidance, and in my case, he did not guide me properly. Super kind though. He seems pretty humble, so if people would stop trolling him, he might actually hear them out and become a better guidance counselor. Just my opinion. :)

Milton Whitley, Mount Hebron Church, Garland, TX

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Milton has really caused himself some problems. I never understood why people would trust someone with their taxes just because they go to the same church. One of the brothers claims Milton is costing him serious coin with the IRS. I think he is also one of the crew spreading rumors that Milton is bisexual and joked that he likes to be called Chanah when on his knees. Whatever the case may be, don't trust the high school shop teacher with your taxes.

Jeffrey Aronowitz, Watertown, NY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Terrible experience!! Both the Doctor and the receptionist (who I believe is Dr. Aronowitz’s wife) show absolutely no compassion, are rude and incredibly cheap. I was desperate to get my teenage child to see a Psychiatrist because they were having sudden uncharacteristic and very scary symptoms their senior year of high school. I quickly learned it is very difficult to find these services in the North Country. They agreed to see my child but made it clear I had to pay $350.00 by cash or credit card on the spot and they would not handle any insurance. I was told I could submit the receipt myself and try to get reimbursed but my usually excellent insurance said the prices were over double what is considered reasonable and customary and reimbursed less than half. Subsequently Dr. Aronowitz scheduled 15 minute visits ( which were usually about 10 min) every 2 weeks for a continued period of time. He refused to prescribe meds for any longer period of time so I had to keep going back. Eventually he let him come once a month for a while. Each of those short visits cost $150.00 and most of the time he kept the meds exactly the same. My child, who was just starting college, accidentally missed one of those 15 minute appointments. When we came back for the next appointment we were told we had to pay the entire $150.00 for the missed appointment plus another $150.00 for the new one. I told my child to ask the doctor if he could work out a payment plan to pay off the $150.00 from the missed appointment and the doctor said “No, I’m not in the business of lending money - make your mom pay and you can work out a plan with her.” This was a college student and it was the first missed appointment! Any dealings I had with either the receptionist or the doctor were horrible- they are both extremely rude and extremely greedy people, obviously only in it for the money. The Dr. has absolutely no bedside mannner and definitely had no warmth to his personality whatsoever. He comes across as very arrogant and uncaring for sure. If you can go to anyone else please do. I was in a desperate situation but they both lack any compassion or decency and I would go anywhere else if you are able. Wish I could give zero points!
