He is a very nice teacher, he teaches all you need to know gives writing assignments at the end of the day, and very interesting class. I recommend it to anyone & also he gives you study guides for all tests. Just do your work and ALWAYS TAKE THE EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES, you'll pass.

no mercy whatsoever and could care less if you don’t understand a certain concept more than once after she teaches it at her own pace

Damon, Palos verdes high school, Palos verdes estates, CA, 90275

Rating: 1 out of 5.

She is a coldhearted woman. She has no remorse for her students and does not care about their well-being or their grade and honestly does not want them to do well in her class. She will not take your accommodations and she will not care about any of your personal or emotional issues. Every single one of her students is so extremely discouraged by her and I have never heard a good word. She leaves no room for improvement for herself though students have tried. She treats her normal classes like AP classes and gives them the same workload with no credit for AP. Thank God I don’t have her anymore I would’ve literally switched schools. I asked my counselor on multiple occasions to do anything to get me out and they wouldn’t. She is so extremely unreasonable and gives 10 minutes for students to complete 30 problems that take a long time to comprehend. She grades so harshly and so extreme that it’s almost unfair, and I’ve never felt more discouraged by a teacher in my life. I don’t know how she is still a teacher she made my mental health suffer so much, I hope that she gets fired and the school sees her issues. She is terrible to her students and the work is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok so you know the drill. This is a mature review so don't expect me to flame her (even though I hate her). I'm in 6th grade (I will not disclose my class), and she makes the teaching environment HORRIBLE. In her classroom, she expects us to put down our stuff 15 seconds after we enter the classroom. Then she asks for our notebook and most of the time planner for homework. The note copying literally takes up 2/3 of the period and she just talks about these made up "stories". In class, you get no time to work on the assigned assignments. First, she freaks you out with a terrible grade, but then you get a regrade. Still, that is horrible since you're expected to get a bad grade the first time you submit an assignment. What's going on recently in around March-April 2025 has been fishy. Students and their parents are getting confused over her grading system. She is not notifying students and guardians on Jupiter and other platforms about the assignment worth change. For example, an assignment that was worth classwork got swapped to projects. That impacted a lot of students and their grade. What Mrs.Mcgarrity is doing breaks the code of conduct for teachers in NYC Public Schools. The sudden grade change in her class needs to be announced/disclosed, not random. I hope they do something about this sketchy situation.

Stiern really messed up letting Mr. milota go, he was the best music teacher in the district. Now stiern is left without a music teacher, and now Mr. Milota is teacher somewhere else. That’s why I hate how people speak before they know the facts.
