Rating: 1 out of 5.

What I’m about to tell you happened several years ago. How this woman is still teaching is beyond me! She is rude to children and parents. I heard her tell my child he would fail her class and then he would be someone else’s problem. Told me numerous times to put my son on medication to calm him down. Suggested he had severe mental issues. Also overheard her bad mouthing me and my son to another teacher, in front of my son. Please be wary of allowing your child to be in this woman’s class room. Hope you all have a better experience than I and my son did!!

Rating: 1 out of 5.

One time, I tried to go to my local Burger King to order me a Baja Blast but then I saw Ms Mcgarrity squishing and sliding going to her seat. So I decided to go order a cup since the line was empty BUT THEN THEY TOLD ME SHE TOOK THE WHOLE F****** MENU. Please, keep them away from your local restaurant

Worse *** teacher ever i always put my camera on and give out answers I think is right and when I was wrong he publicly embarrassed me saying that I'm a no life and a bunch of other stuff. I wish I caught that on video because that would be more them enough evidence to report him

Libby Held, Holly High School, Holly, MI, 48442

Actually, I don't totally mind a teacher being picky with grading, as long as they have a sound reason why (i.e. they gave a really simple task, reviewed specifics of the assignment and A-level, B-level, C-level samples during class, or provided office hours for one-on-one feedback throughout the project, etc.) Bottom line: it's acceptable to have a high expectation for your students--but only if you've *already* given them the tools to achieve that standard. However, it's always unfair when a teacher can't explain their own grading. Not only is it unreasonable--in certain instances, it's pretty inconsiderate. Take, for instance, an honors setting. In advanced classes, kids pour truckloads of effort into their assignments to please you--why can't you put some effort into evaluating their work?
