Elizabeth Shown Mills, Ogden, UT

Rating: 1 out of 5.

DO NOT HIRE HER. She overcharges and under delivers. Many of her sources and citations were her own. I mean really, citing yourself? Citing Facebook? Citing your own Facebook posts as if they were books or published papers...nutty narcisist! When I complained, she made it her mission to attack me and my family. My cousin is an attorney, and the firm's investigator turned up her sordid history. She does not have a PhD or any advanced degree as you would lead you to believe. She only has an unaccredited bachelors degree that ironically no longer exists. She is divorced, and much of her claimed lineage is from her ex-husband, not hers. She is not only claiming his ancestry, she is claiming his academic credentials and published works (he was a PhD). Her credentials are all from an organization she helps run, so she is awarding herself credentials. And if you review her college transcripts and divorce papers, she was sleeping with her advisor and did not have to take normal classes like everyone else. She got lifetime learning credit and independent study (fancy terms for staying at home because you are dating your professor). Elizabeth, prove me wrong! You can't change your transcripts and divorce court papers no matter how many fake stories you publish on Facebook.

Dr.David Phillips, Kent State, Salem, OH

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Being a nontraditional student(older) Dr.Phillps helped me to understand World History in a way no one else ever has. He has an eye opening way of teaching, which I enjoyed tremendously. He was also willing to meet if I didn't comprehend what was being taught. He was always going above and beyond his duties as a professor to help out. He would be an asset to any Institute that he teaches at. If you have the pleasure to have him for World History, you will never look at the world the same again. I was truly blessed to have him this past semester. He has helped to make my college experience a great one, and for this I Thank him.

patrick mcguffey, volstate commmunity college, gallatin, TN

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Former professor retired then back to teaching. Very experienced and knowledgeable, cares for the students. Expects one to study and attend class. Teaches beyond the text. Develops life skills and is excellent mentor. Will write a recommendation if the class work and aspiration is serious. He has a good sense of humor but doesn't tolerate silliness. If you want to learn about history and the arts take this professor's class. If you want an easy class with no work and little learning do not take this class.

Gary Moreno, Rose State College, Midwest City, OK

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Professor Moreno is extremely knowledgeable in history. I did learn quite a bit in his class. He does go through the material quickly at times, but he will repeat something if it is important, or if you ask him to. Overall, I really enjoyed his class.

Mr. Martin, Butte College, Oroville, CA

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Mr Martin is a hard teacher, but one of the best I have ever had. He teaches US History to 1855, because of him I have a better understanding of where we came from as a people. He taught me the tools I need to OPEN my MIND and THINK for myself. NOT to be a follower, but to challenge the Establishment. Thank you.

Ms. Castro has an amazing command of the Spanish language, and is an excellent teacher. She conveys the subtle differences between English and Spanish, making it easy to learn the language. She also teaches the class in such a way that one wants to continue learning. She is patient and understanding of her students’ pace in learning. In addition she has a great sense of humor and makes every class fun and interesting. She is truly an awesome professor!

She is a worse teacher Know, she no explain a subject correctly a don't understanding. When she explain her voice is understandable, I stop go to a class because I understand. I don't recommended a professor.
