PATIENTS BEWARE— 10+ YEARS! DRS. NO ETHICS/PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDING STAFF & DRS. BEWARE—10+ YEARS!DRS. NO ETHICS etc., INCLUDING STAFF & DRS. Dr. E. Wheeler & all 3 owning Drs. after 10+ yrs. of care, just dropped me b/C her receptionist of 20 yrs lied when I explained to her the steps I was ordered to follow by my Dr. to protect me from CV-19 exposure b/c MI Law, required me to personally pick up a script at the Dr. office.Receptionist didn't like to deviate normal protocol, thus retaliated against me & lied. No disrespect etc. on my part. The Dr. dropped me & never investigated or fired receptionist for lying. No other reason. This same incident happened twice--again at time of next refill. Unfortunately I didn't report 1st incident at the time. One of their own patients was a witness.I have no recourse but to lose my Dr. I'm 65 years old & the Drs. policy is if a patient is dropped, no other Dr. in the huge practice will see you--blackballed. I know they didn't investigate b/c I had witnesses both issues. She/they never tried to contact me--just mailed a letter. Office Mngr believed. She offered to put me with a Nurse Practitioner. I have complex med. issues & need someone with more extensive knowledge & practice time. Office itself has issues otherwise. Can't recommend. They were 100%UNPROFESSIONAL, INHUMANE, UNETHICAL when most needed. My doctor knows me better than to have believed I would do anything out-of-line or disrespectful. All this & NO DOCTOR during a worldwide Pandemic. Unbelievable from beginning to end of this nightmare. After all these years they didn't give me the common curtsey to ask me what happened, as ‘their patient’. I never owed even $1 to the practice—ever. The 3 Dr.s that own the practice are also aware there is ‘a situation’, but know nothing of the truth. They won't take time to learn the truth or deal with their responsibIlity. They need to be reminded that their first obligation to their patients is to 'Do No Harm...' It never crossed my mind that they would need to be taught to 'CAUSE No Harm'. PATIENTS BEWARE.

Dr. E. Wheeler--after 10+ years of care, just dropped me because her receptionist of 20 years lied when I was requesting of her to do exactly as I was ordered to do by my Dr. to protect me from CV-19 while having to personally pick up a script at the office. Receptionist didn't like to have to follow 'my' directions re: Dr.'s orders so retaliated against me and & lied. The Dr. dropped me instead of firing receptionist. No other reason. I have no recourse but to lose my Dr. I'm 65 years old and the practice policy is if someone is dropped, no other Dr. in huge practice will see you. They didn't investigate incidents and never tried to talk to me--just sent me a letter in the mail. They offered to continue to see me but offered a Nurse Practitioner. I have complex med. issues and need someone with more extensive knowledge and practice time. (Incident happened 2 times as it happened again at time of following refill, as well. I didn't report 1st incident.) I could have easily recommended this practice but they were extremely unprofessional and my doctor knows me better than to have believed that I would have done anything to have been out of line or disrespectful to anyone. ...all during a worldwide Pandemic. Unbelievable from beginning of this nightmare. After all these years they didn't even give me the common curtsey to ask me what had happened. The 3 Dr.s that own the practice are also aware of how I was treated--but know nothing of what was done to me or what the truth of the circumstances are. They just don't want to take the time to know they are responsible. They need to be reminded that their first obligation to their patiences is to 'Do No Harm...' It never crossed my mind that they would need to be taught to 'Cause No Harm'. PATIENCES BEWARE.

Stay away from Pain Treatment Centers of America and Dr. Sameer. He almost killed me with a narcotic patch called buprenorphine. Those things will overdose you if you get too warm. I read the package insert and understood what could cause that. But no one in that office mentioned that walking across my yard at 7:30 in the morning would overheat that patch. I no kidding almost died. And the nurse I talked to about it on the phone chewed me out and was rude and wanted it to be all my fault. Blood pressure 83/49 when I got help. I was with PTCoA for 4 years. In that time I had 3 different doctors--not because I chose a different doc (they don't alow you to do that).but because apparently Dr.s come and go at this place....kind of like the way clerks get rotated thru the convenience store. I went thru sudden narcotic withdrawal twice because one of them neglected to authorize my refills. Took 9 days for her to get around to it the first time. The clinic is more interested in selling you the latest product or procedure than doing what is best for you. Over my time w them there were so many mistakes and misdiagnoses. I had to ask myself "why am I putting up with this?" The answer is ...because they give me *** ....yep...that's why. So now I am being treated for opiate addiction and trying to find someone who can at least be responsible with medications. And they hurt me.....Dr Sameer doesn't believe in giving IV sedation for injections....said "it takes too long to take effect and the shots will be over before then." B.S.....Iv sedation is almost immediately effective...what take too long is placing the IV and such....it can save him 10 minutes per patient if he doesn't bother so then he can run an additional 10 patients per week thru the clinic....$$$$$$$. It's all about the $$$$$$. You don't matter. He hurt me. He misdiagnosed my issues. He almost killed me. Stay away. Stay away. Stay away...oh yeah...did I mention STAY AWAY

This review is in reference to a United Healthcare virtual visit on July 3, 2022. I'm a 49 year old male who has suffered through anxiety and sleep related issues. To give a little more background I'd previously spoken with 2 other doctors on June 30 and July 2, also through UHC virtual care. But unlike this experience, those two were 5 stars. I originally called because at the time I was going through severe withdrawal symptoms after having to abruptly stop a sleep/anxiety medicine. I had a scheduled appointment with a new primary care physician on July 8 but I had no idea what to expect from the new doctor, plus I needed some immediate relief from the withdrawal symptoms which were making it almost impossible for me to sleep. The first doctor, William Errico, DO was extremely helpful and prescribed a 30 day supply of .1 mg Clonidine to help me. He was friendly and I immediately felt comfortable with him. On July 2, I spoke with Karen Beers, NP. At this point I hadn't noticed much effect from the Clonidine and was looking to gather a little more input on things. She was very patient and helpful and gave me some good suggestions on natural remedies to help with my issue. The 5-HTP she recommended has worked very well for me. By late evening July 2/early July 3 I noticed the Clonidine was starting to have a positive effect. I was still apprehensive about what to expect from the new doctor and I felt that I could possibly gain some more insight from talking to a third doctor and possibly get a refill on the Clonidine since it was beginning to work for me. Plus I had no idea whether a new pcp would even prescribe it. My mistake was getting Lisa Primiani. From the beginning she projected a cold, unfeeling demeanor and I felt uncomfortable with her. The only good thing about the visit was there was no cost because it was fully covered under my insurance. But in this case I got what I paid for. She tended to use the word "unfortunate" a lot but the truly unfortunate thing was this visit. Well, where do I begin? I clearly stated my issue and my concerns and her first response was that I'd already had 3 previous visits with other doctors (it was only 2 - the first visit with Dr. Errico was accidentally disconnected before it had begun). In essence, this made me feel very uncomfortable. Like I'd already called several times already and why was I wasting her time? This isn't what she stated word for word, but it was clearly the impression that I got. To quote a phrase from my 13 year old daughter, it was a "cringe worthy" moment. It got worse from there. At this point I knew I was wasting my time, but I decided to approach the subject of giving me a Clonidine refill. I stated the reasons for this as I did earlier in this review. Her response was basically if I'd taken the whole bottle already then I had a serious problem. These weren't the exact words but they're nearly identical. My initial reaction was complete shock. I honestly don't have words for it. At the time, this comment kind of reminded me of an old lady with a serious case of dementia who will pretty much blurt out the worst possible thing. I was like, no way, she didn't really say that! Also, if I'd actually taken the whole 30 day supply of Clonidine in 3 days then chances are that I probably wouldn't have been having this conversation in the first place. Another truly cringe worthy moment. Unlike the previous 2 doctors, she offered me nothing. Well, actually she did. She offered me an excuse. She stated that her specialty was not "chronic" issues but rather short-term issues or something to that effect. Well, I'll make it a point the next time that I call a telehealth doctor to tell my body not to have a "chronic" issue but a short-term one instead. One word of advice for this doctor, actually 2 words, smile more. A little friendliness goes a long way. I'd love to see the world of telehealth become a kinder place as exemplified by my visits with the first 2 doctors. Every patient out there deserves nothing less.

Maahir Haque, MD, 410 Celebration Place, Suite 106, Celebration, FL, 34747

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Maahir Haque at Celebration Orthopaedic and Sports Injury is a rare find. After five years and several surgeries elsewhere, Dr. Haque took on my complicated case and actually cured my pain! He listened carefully to me, answered all of my questions and put me at ease from the start. His expertise and skill in minimally invasive back surgery are a Godsend because I woke up from surgery and literally, the pain was gone. I couldn’t believe it, but I’ve never felt better. His Physician Assistant, Amere, was a delight to work with and answered any additional questions or concerns. His Nurse, sweet “Ari” (Arrixarell,) was on top of everything and kept me informed each step of the way. Dr. Haque and his team are so professional and personable, I honestly felt like their only patient and I would highly recommend them and Celebration Ortho. to anyone who needs surgery for back and related pain. They offer the real solution and my family and I are truly grateful.
