Dr. Kuhl has been my family physician for 10+ years. Until recently I had never experienced the belittling, talk down to your patients as I had often heard he could be. Not only did he refer to me as being incoherent, (which I wasn't) but he become so verbally abusive that by the time the exam was over, I left the exam room in tears. My recent for the unplanned visit was due to a fall I had experienced on a Saturday night and again on a Sunday evening. Because I had been diagnosed with thinning bones 4 years ago and subsequently prescribed medication for the condition, I have been especially careful have how I walked, slowing down my stride, and given up horse back riding. The falls I took placed great stress on my joints, hips, knees, and lower back. Long story short, the good doctor has lost a patient for good. I will never allow this person to examine me again. I will never use East Tennessee Medical Group again. The treatment I have received from this group since reaching my 62 birthday has been less than stellar. No one deserves to be treated in such a mean, hateful and cruel way, especially when said patient was in excruciating pain, could barely walk, and exhausted due to lack of sleep. I considered filing a review with the state medical board, but instead decided to post a review on this site first. I will pray in earnest that someone on the medical review board will eventually conduct a review on Dr. Kuhl's unprofessional conduct toward his patients. I know I'm not the only patient he has treated so poorly. My uncle was also a patient of his a few years ago and was subjected to the same type of verbal abuse, lack of caring from Dr. Kuhl. His bedside manner has a lot to be desired. His uncaring attitude, verbally abusive tone is unacceptable. Another incident with this doctor was the misdiagnoses on me in 2013. He kept insisting the pain in my chest, running down my left arm, and shortness of breath was heart related. First off I have no relatives who have ever had heart problems. Secondly, it took two trips to the emergency room and 7 months to get this man to refer me to a gastroenterology specialist. As it turned out my gall bladder was on the verge of shutting down. The emergency room doctor on my 2nd visit discovered the problem and thank goodness he did. Otherwise I probably would not be sitting here filing a review 6 years later. Dr Kristappa Sangavaram, MD double charged me $1,000. He charged me and my medical insurance company for the same injection of a steroid. Sometimes he uses the last name "Sangdidram", other times he uses the last name "Sangavarian" and other times he uses the last name "Sangavaram". He told me not to tell the other anesthesiologists but I did and I told the insurance company. Even his ex-partner told me "I know what Dr Sangavaram did to you...I know the story" and that's why he was told to leave and he had to go to a smaller place and he makes less money thanks to me because I told everyone. I spoke to him and he didn't know I told on him and he started trash talking his previous partners. In a way I won because he ended up earning much less money because I told everybody. Always report when physicians do that to you- it happens all the time and never pay a medical bill in this country because all those bills are fraudulent. I know because I worked in the medical field. Don't go to Dr Kristappa Sangavaram because besides that he doesn't do anything that will help you. He's strictly just works with botox and steroid blockers. He will try to shame you if you take pain meds. He calls your family members and gossips to your family members about you before he bills you. Remember: Always report these doctors to every appropriate agency and always name and shame them. This happens all the time in the United States. Only in 11 US states is it not permitted for a physician to over-bill you. In all the other 39 US states they are allowed but you must not pay it. I told you I worked in the medical field in this country.

Nice n caring physician who helped me until my car broke down for 8 weeks and I was hurting in my neck and spine tremendously and was calling. N. He never got on the phone n on the day of my appointment by. Phone. The nurse said that I had to be there for a med count. I had no. Way. But I have a car now. But the nurse. Ashley sd. We are dismissing you bcuz you didn't show up after I told her that I could not walk. N. Had. No way there. Earlier that morning. Well. I thought my dr was going to get on the phone. my appt was at. 2.40 PM. Instead. Ashley a nurse sd. good luck with your car shopping and the bank. Good luck with your life. I was shocked when she said that. n. My older brother had just came by then. To hear what was said over the phone and he said that was crazy. Yes it was n. Mean. I'm disabled due to back problems and neck problems 5 bulging discs and deg disc disease and rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia. N. Sciatica nerve problems are around a disc. Got. No. Referral to a specialist or any other medical professional advice from them. Just. Good luck with your life and I said thank you. I have been told to call the AMA. N. Medical board on this type of treatment. But before that. He said he knew that I hurt. He. Had the. New. MRI. N. I only met him once and the other appt was by phone bcuz of covid. I have called back wanting to see my. Discharged paperwork and sd. The truth is I. Had. No. Car. Etc. But I never received any thing from them. He was caring. While he was operating n. Opening a. New office. Daniel McCollum even tod me over the phone how great they are. He owned the lab with this dr office and after they. Helped me 5 x. N. My. Car broke down and I had no way. N. Cut my med. In. Half. Too. It was like ok. We are establishing new patients and partners again and we have enough to say. Bye to you. Lady. That's exactly what it feels like. 2* bcuz at 1st he was caring and in a few weeks after that he was not able to get on the phone and talk to me about my condition and my health problems so. Dr Nguy?n is an unethical physician. He dropped a patient because the patient complained about his refusing to do a test even though it was medically necessary. He made no effort to find an alternative doctor even when the patient just received notice that he had kidney failure. He won't come to the phone or even accept email. His bedside manner is virtually non-existent. He doesn't tell his patients what tests he orders, and he does unnecessary or redundant tests. He essentially practices second class medicine. His staff are rude and unresponsive. They are also incompetent. It took them 4 weeks to refill a routine prescription, resulting in very unpleasant symptoms. It also took them about 8 tries before they got another prescription right. Stay away from this awful medical practice.
