I gave the receptionist all of the insurance information which was related to my motor vehicle accident. The receptionist and another staff member kept pressuring me to give them my personal health insurance information. I did not give them my health insurance card and contacted my health insurance provider when I arrived home. The representative said I did the right thing by not submitting it. They would have only rejected the payment because it was a motor vehicle claim. The only valid reason for requesting my card would have been to update my information if I was already a current patient if that practice. I was not. My concern is that the intent was to attempt to double bill the motor insurance company and my health insurance company. I will report this incident to NYS Health Dept and the NYS Better Business Bureau. I was very uncomfortable be pressured by the staff to surrender my health insurance card. I wish I had walked out of the office and not have been seen there.

Edwin Kuhl, 266 Joule St, Alcoa, TN, 37701
Dr. Kuhl has been my family physician for 10+ years. Until recently I had never experienced the belittling, talk down to your patients as I had often heard he could be. Not only did he refer to me as being incoherent, (which I wasn't) but he become so verbally abusive that by the time the exam was over, I left the exam room in tears. My recent for the unplanned visit was due to a fall I had experienced on a Saturday night and again on a Sunday evening. Because I had been diagnosed with thinning bones 4 years ago and subsequently prescribed medication for the condition, I have been especially careful have how I walked, slowing down my stride, and given up horse back riding. The falls I took placed great stress on my joints, hips, knees, and lower back. Long story short, the good doctor has lost a patient for good. I will never allow this person to examine me again. I will never use East Tennessee Medical Group again. The treatment I have received from this group since reaching my 62 birthday has been less than stellar. No one deserves to be treated in such a mean, hateful and cruel way, especially when said patient was in excruciating pain, could barely walk, and exhausted due to lack of sleep. I considered filing a review with the state medical board, but instead decided to post a review on this site first. I will pray in earnest that someone on the medical review board will eventually conduct a review on Dr. Kuhl's unprofessional conduct toward his patients. I know I'm not the only patient he has treated so poorly. My uncle was also a patient of his a few years ago and was subjected to the same type of verbal abuse, lack of caring from Dr. Kuhl. His bedside manner has a lot to be desired. His uncaring attitude, verbally abusive tone is unacceptable. Another incident with this doctor was the misdiagnoses on me in 2013. He kept insisting the pain in my chest, running down my left arm, and shortness of breath was heart related. First off I have no relatives who have ever had heart problems. Secondly, it took two trips to the emergency room and 7 months to get this man to refer me to a gastroenterology specialist. As it turned out my gall bladder was on the verge of shutting down. The emergency room doctor on my 2nd visit discovered the problem and thank goodness he did. Otherwise I probably would not be sitting here filing a review 6 years later. Lacks knowledge needs to "check the book" who uses books? More importantly I had a fractured pelvis in two places and she had the X-ray results. I had suffered a fall and she couldn't see me but ordered X-ray at hospital. Not only did she NOT call me with the results, she made me wait all day in pain until I called her for them. Then she misread the results initially, only to call me back a moment later. When I requested something for the pain her response was "well, the office is about to close so you will have to wait until tomorrow "! Really?! The office was open for another 15 minutes and it was her fault I had waited in pain all day to begin with and now she was going to make me wait all night too! Because she was going to be going home! How about doing your job? How about getting the prescription to me another way?? Some caring physician, NOT!!! This is not the first instance in which she did not do her job! Another time I called needing to be seen for a respiratory illness and was told she had no appointments, I requested at least a prescription for a chest X-ray, which when I went to the office to pick it up she was leaving a couple hours early for the day. The office which has set hours of operation and six physicians, she just left uncovered...way to care for your patients...most people find coverage!

Dr Zeshan Hyder DO, 9001 Broadway, Merrillville, IN
Dr Hyder performed surgery on my lower back which was injured in a fall down stairs. The bone was relocated back in its proper place, a disc was replaced and arthritis was removed. The pain I had before was completely gone! I had no surgical pain at the site and no complications since. My physical therapy has strengthened and I have recommended Dr Hyder countless times! His staff team at the hospital & his office have also been excellent!

I had poor knee replacement surgery results. Dr. Thomas who works at the V.A. hospital and who specializes in difficult cases was suppose to look at my cases. He told me "that I had to learn to live with the poor surgery results". I am close to losing my ability to walk and have already lost my ability to drive..

You might as well not even have him as your Dr. you wind up taking care of yourself. He can’t even read tests results. I understand that you might need a specialist now & then, but when a Dr. can’t even diagnose a simple thrush infection which is visible by just looking in your mouth, you know he not good. Especially when he gives you meds that don’t even relate to symptoms you’re describing to him. Never gets back to you when you ask a question on Mycare.

She literally was the rudest doctor ever, hung up on several times, the discharged me without ant notice for calling her office to many times, which was no more tghen 10 in 5 months , nrmecer explained my condition to me, violated the law by kicking me out without 30 day notice and no referal for treatment

Dr. Belgorod is the very best ophthalmologist that I have ever seen. His office is immaculate. His staff are welcoming and friendly. His equipment is the most up-to-date that I have seen. His academic record is phenomenal and his hospital affiliations are the best in New York.

Dr. Raskin is the One!! last feb,. my then 14 year-old boy started to have pain in his right wrist, with no obvious injury, and with rest, pain med, he did not get any better but worse. after second mri in july, he was diagnosed with kienbock's disease and was put in cast. we were graciously recommended by our dr. to look for a more experienced surgeon for this condition. so from then and there, my family started a very long, hard and draining journey for a trustworthy surgeon to operate on my son for this rare but serious condition, esp. in a teenager. we covered pretty much all the renowned pediatric orthopedic facility on the east coast, including boston children's hospital, children's hospital of philadelphia, hss in nyc, and met with top pediatric orthopedics. unfortunately, each dr. had his own understanding of the condition and no two came up with the same surgery plan and none sounded even close to being assuring for his own plan. at one point we were told to go back and wait till the condition got worse enough for the very aggressive surgery at the next level. meanwhile my son, a very athletic kid and a competitive baseball player, was wearing the case from elbow down ( from the diagnosis in july till surgery in dec). frustration, exhaustion, desperation, helplessness, financial burden, missing school....all that doesnot even begin to describe what we went through.... untill in nov., right before thanksgiving, i was sitting in front of my computer, having exhausted all resources and feeling desperate, not knowing where to go next, when i got a phone call from dr. raskin's office that changed everything!! in no time, i found myself sitting with my son and dr. raskin in his office, settling down on his least aggressive, most assuring and convincing surgery plan with best postoperative prospect. dr. raskin, is god-sent!! he is very kind, patient, personable, understanding, warm. his office feels like a living room at a friend's house, very relaxing and welcoming. his assistant and staffs are very patient and attentive. above all this, dr. raskin is proved to be and stays as an experienced, top-notch surgeon in his field. in april this year, four months after the surgery, my son was cleared for sports and nowadays, he is pitching and in-fielding for baseball and dunking on basketball court. my family cant never thank dr. raskin enough!! we recommend him highly and without any reservation.
