Dr. Timothy Tollestrup, Henderson, NV

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I flew from Philadelphia to Vegas to have 3 times for consultation and 2 surgeries in Dr. Tollestrup's Henderson surgical suite (which he owns.). He talked a big game, and I was so elated after his exam when he said he could help me, I actually began to cry. The first surgery seemed to go ok, but he said I required a second surgery down my leg for the pain to go away. After the second surgery my calf swelled to bigger than my thigh. I contacted the office and after a week, I never heard back, called again, another week goes by and I decide to message Dr. Tollestrup directly. He tells me that I'm lying about my leg, and that I never called because his staff would've told him and that if I wasn't any better, I must be lying, and HE doesn't have these problems. After this, I began to recall that the Facebook groups that he uses for his marketing promptly removes any negative comments or struggles that people were having. He only lets the positive stuff come through. This is so deceiving, as people get excited to see all these great results. There is now a support group for the people he deceived and has hurt through his actions. The side dr Tollestrup 'fixed' is worse than ever. I fall on that side all the time, and I have little strength in it. His fragile ego has no room for things not to go as he expects. Such a shame that a doctor like Dr. Tollestrup ruins hope for people like me. To be told by a doctor that I am LYING because his surgery went horribly wrong was devastating after everything I have been through. I waited awhile to post this because I didn't want to act out of malice, but what Dr. Tollestrup did to me was consequential for my life, and EXTREMELY unprofessional. After I asked Dr. Tollestrup to STOP contacting me, he continued to harass me via text message. I still have all the text messages saved from 702-506-5462 and they are SHOCKING.

Rainer Vogel, 10561 Jeffreys Street, Henderson, NV

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Rainer Vogel has been my Pain Management specialist for over ten years. Federal Law mandates that I see him every month because of the medicine that he prescribes for me. Dr. Vogel is extremely professional but also personable. Though he usually has a full office, he treats me as though I am his only patient, offering new solutions to my pain. I am impressed that he often mentions a class or conference he has recently attended or an article that he just read that makes him up to date on the most recent procedures and medicine. He checks me often (urine) to be sure that I am not abusing the medicine that he gives me. He has me bring in my prescriptions--that he has each pill counted-- every visit. I can think of absolutely no negative comment to offer for Dr. Vogel, and I hope I keep him for many years.

Steven Bailey, 350 Chapel Hill, Crestview Hills, KY

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Steven Bailey is a wonderful neurosurgeon whose skill my husband and I are very grateful for. My husband has suffered for years with degenerative disk disease which had gotten progressively worse over the years. In the past few years the pain grew to be unbearable. Before a cervical surgery this past March, his neck hurt immensely and the pain ran into his head causing horrible headaches which kept him from sleeping. At the same time the lower back was getting worse too. Dr. Bailey did the cervical surgery in March and the relief he experienced was miraculous. Dr. Bailey said after he completely healed from it, we would address the lower back. He just had lumbar surgery in October. Before this surgery for the stenosis, my husband suffered so much and actually couldn't walk at times. Again Dr. Bailey performed surgery which alleviated his pain and he feels better than he has in years. We are so grateful to Dr. Bailey for giving him back his life.

Robert Hammer, Louisville, KY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

$305 per regular office visit to the a Nurse Practitioner. I’ve been allowed to see the actual physician one time in my last six visits. I sat in the patient room for 1 hr and 40 minutes waiting for the Practitioner to come into the room, until I had to stalk the halls of the office to see if I had been completely forgotten. Dr. Hammer is booked out for six months has been my experience. Joke. Highway robbery for $305 for an appointment with someone who can barely speak English. Medical records aren’t just given to you; you have to request in writing or online. Do yourself a favor and stay miles away from this inept and lousy “medical” practice.
