Rating: 1 out of 5.

This review is in reference to a United Healthcare virtual visit on July 3, 2022. I'm a 49 year old male who has suffered through anxiety and sleep related issues. To give a little more background I'd previously spoken with 2 other doctors on June 30 and July 2, also through UHC virtual care. But unlike this experience, those two were 5 stars. I originally called because at the time I was going through severe withdrawal symptoms after having to abruptly stop a sleep/anxiety medicine. I had a scheduled appointment with a new primary care physician on July 8 but I had no idea what to expect from the new doctor, plus I needed some immediate relief from the withdrawal symptoms which were making it almost impossible for me to sleep. The first doctor, William Errico, DO was extremely helpful and prescribed a 30 day supply of .1 mg Clonidine to help me. He was friendly and I immediately felt comfortable with him. On July 2, I spoke with Karen Beers, NP. At this point I hadn't noticed much effect from the Clonidine and was looking to gather a little more input on things. She was very patient and helpful and gave me some good suggestions on natural remedies to help with my issue. The 5-HTP she recommended has worked very well for me. By late evening July 2/early July 3 I noticed the Clonidine was starting to have a positive effect. I was still apprehensive about what to expect from the new doctor and I felt that I could possibly gain some more insight from talking to a third doctor and possibly get a refill on the Clonidine since it was beginning to work for me. Plus I had no idea whether a new pcp would even prescribe it. My mistake was getting Lisa Primiani. From the beginning she projected a cold, unfeeling demeanor and I felt uncomfortable with her. The only good thing about the visit was there was no cost because it was fully covered under my insurance. But in this case I got what I paid for. She tended to use the word "unfortunate" a lot but the truly unfortunate thing was this visit. Well, where do I begin? I clearly stated my issue and my concerns and her first response was that I'd already had 3 previous visits with other doctors (it was only 2 - the first visit with Dr. Errico was accidentally disconnected before it had begun). In essence, this made me feel very uncomfortable. Like I'd already called several times already and why was I wasting her time? This isn't what she stated word for word, but it was clearly the impression that I got. To quote a phrase from my 13 year old daughter, it was a "cringe worthy" moment. It got worse from there. At this point I knew I was wasting my time, but I decided to approach the subject of giving me a Clonidine refill. I stated the reasons for this as I did earlier in this review. Her response was basically if I'd taken the whole bottle already then I had a serious problem. These weren't the exact words but they're nearly identical. My initial reaction was complete shock. I honestly don't have words for it. At the time, this comment kind of reminded me of an old lady with a serious case of dementia who will pretty much blurt out the worst possible thing. I was like, no way, she didn't really say that! Also, if I'd actually taken the whole 30 day supply of Clonidine in 3 days then chances are that I probably wouldn't have been having this conversation in the first place. Another truly cringe worthy moment. Unlike the previous 2 doctors, she offered me nothing. Well, actually she did. She offered me an excuse. She stated that her specialty was not "chronic" issues but rather short-term issues or something to that effect. Well, I'll make it a point the next time that I call a telehealth doctor to tell my body not to have a "chronic" issue but a short-term one instead. One word of advice for this doctor, actually 2 words, smile more. A little friendliness goes a long way. I'd love to see the world of telehealth become a kinder place as exemplified by my visits with the first 2 doctors. Every patient out there deserves nothing less.

This doctor being a part of a rehab clinic has massive control issues doesn't listen and makes judgmental comments. There's a quote under his picture on the website saying that he enjoys helping his patients and in reality he just enjoys bossing them around judging them and wreaking havoc over their medications and whether or not they can obtain them. I'm done fighting this heartless quack!!!

Pedigree doesn't matter when a doctor has absolutely no respect for your time or the simple courtesy to keep a scheduled appointment at the agree-upon time. I walked out on this guy after waiting for an hour and a half. Who knows when he would have even bothered to show up? No one at the facility (KOC) bothered to let me know how late he was running and ask if I'd prefer to reschedule; instead they assured me after a half hour that he'd be right with me. After voicing (calmly) my displeasure and leaving, no one bothered to follow-up or apologize, and -- while they're johnny-on-the-spot to ask for reviews after successful appointments -- it's telling that no one bothered to ask for my opinion about this one. If you think I'm nuts, and that waiting on doctors is acceptable behavior, good for you. I, however, am of the opinion that they work for us, and -- just as I was respectful of his time by arriving early -- he should have had the common decency to respect mine.

Dr Grant Shumaker M.D.. F .A. A.N.S, 575 Sioux Point Rd, Dakota Dunes, SD

I wouldn't recommend this Doctor to any one in any circumstances. Very bad interpersonal skills doesn't remember things after surgery was completed and lacking follow through. Quit without a care of the patient health or aftercare.

John Oehler, Lima/Ada, OH

Rating: 2 out of 5.

I went in for my fourth visit yesterday for acute wheezing, shortness of breath and a month of bronchitis. Not just a head cold here... I'm healthy otherwise. He asked if I was short of breath. I said it was fine as long as I was sitting down. He brusquely replied, "This work-up is going to be a lot easier if you just answer all my questions yes or no. That will be faster for you and faster for me." Shortly after that, while never looking at me and while typing with two fingers on his laptop, which he does during the entire visit before he even examines you, he muttered, "You might know all this would hit the fan right after the other guy leaves." He replaced a retiring doctor in this practice whom we've seen for years. Bedside manner is abominable. Will be looking for another doctor. Even if he is competent, it was unacceptable. If I treated others that way at my job, I'd be fired. Very arrogant and also criticizes his colleagues when you are forced to go to their urgent care because he wasn't in his office when I called to try to get a third appointment after suffering for a month. Didn't deserve that...

Jennifer M. Teeter,D.O., North towns Orthopedics, Williamsville, NY

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Teeter. I know all the doctors at Northtowns are good- but she is exceptionally thorough and caring. She seems to carefully weigh each test or treatment to see what is best for me in the long run.

Stephen D. Stokes, 13730 Cypress Terrace Cir. unit 401, Fort Myers, FL

Rating: 1 out of 5.

The Vax-D procedure sold by Dr. Stephen Stokes of Advanced Pain Solutions is a total waste of good out of pocket money. I went for 44 treatments on the Vax-D machine for lower back pain and finally quit after spending $4,500.00 of my own money. The procedure was a total failure and my condition has worsened since taking the treatments. You know what they say about something looking too good to be true? I'm a 73 yr old retired bank executive who is very credible. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THE VAX-D TREATMENTS BUYER BEWARE!! Heavy financial risks---zero results. There is a good reason why the VAX-D procedure is not approved by Medicare or Private Insurance! Rod T.

Dr. Murat Atli, 24000 Alicia Pkwy #18, Mission Viejo, CA

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I had not been to a Dentist in decades. Like many others I dreaded the prospect of going and luckily had no pain until it finally happened, I took a bite of food with a hidden bone inside and broke a tooth. The throbbing pain wouldn't stop so I called a friend for a referral and they could not stop, or slow down, the amount of amazing praise for Dr. Murat Atli. They went on about how "Lucky" I was and how much "Fun" I would have and that I was in for a "Great Experience". So at this point I'm thinking I've got to remember to have my friend looked at for mental health issues as soon as I get rid of the excruciating pain I was in. The tooth was so shattered it needed to be extracted piece by piece. Not normally an event one looks forward to experiencing however my friend wasn't looking so crazy as Dr. Atli's bedside manor was truly refreshing. In this age of go fast next patient, now next hurry hurry he took time to alleviate my fears and explain all that would occur and the changes since I'd last seen a Dentist. The process was truly remarkable, I did not feel shots to numb the area nor the stitches placed once removed. I felt only the pulling sensation when removing but No Pain, simply Unbelievable. Dr. Atli was Professional, Accommodating, Enlightening Caring and yes Fun. A Wicked sense of humor he definitely has. I now go out of my way to reccomend to friends, family even strangers the Amazing Dr. Atli. I've handed a business card (I keep some with me crazy as it sounds.) and even hand introduced people to this Brilliant, Talented and Very Rare Special Man on numerous occasions. I have never had a bad experience with and I Highly Recommend Dr. Murat Atli ! ! !

Bill Luke Fiat Tempe, 7799 S Autoplex Loop, Tempe, AZ

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I bought my car back in February (maybe end of January) and when I was about to leave the lot, I noticed the wrench light was on. I told the salesman (who was sitting right next to me) and his response was "oh yeah that's okay they probably just forgot to turn the light off, they are really busy right now so I'd suggest calling and bringing it in another time to get that turned off." A couple of weeks later, I went onto their website to schedule this appointment, I never got a call back. My mindset is that if it's just a light that needs to be turned off, I'm not going to make it a priority to get my car in because I'm already very busy. So when my oil light came on last week, I called to make an appointment for that and noted that I'd like for the wrench light to be turned off as well. They told me I had to go to Kia (a completely different dealership) to get this fixed since my car is a Kia. So I took it to Kia and get a phone call from the service man saying that the check engine light is on because there is a broken auxiliary battery temp sensor due to someone breaking it while installing the battery. I immediately said okay I'm going to call Bill Luke because I have not touched that battery since I got the car it must have happened before I bought it. After speaking with the general manager (Steve) he was not helpful or sympathetic what so ever. I told him what happened and he said because I waited "8 months" to get this checked, there wasn't anything they could do about it. I told him that had I known something was wrong I would've taken it in immediately but since his salesman told me it was okay, I didn't make it a priority. He kept saying it was the customer's fault (me) for waiting that long to get it checked. I then asked him if I was understanding correctly, his salesman sold me a car with the wrench light on, told me it was nothing and it just needed to be turned off and now that I find out something is actually wrong with it they won't do anything to make this right. He continued to repeat himself saying that it's been "8 months" and I shouldn't have waited that long to check. This is the worst customer service I have ever recieved, and when I bought my car and my fiance's car the next weekend from them they can't spare the money to make something right that they did wrong? I'm completely outraged and will NEVER refer them to anyone or go there again.
