Dr. Kuhl has been my family physician for 10+ years. Until recently I had never experienced the belittling, talk down to your patients as I had often heard he could be. Not only did he refer to me as being incoherent, (which I wasn't) but he become so verbally abusive that by the time the exam was over, I left the exam room in tears. My recent for the unplanned visit was due to a fall I had experienced on a Saturday night and again on a Sunday evening. Because I had been diagnosed with thinning bones 4 years ago and subsequently prescribed medication for the condition, I have been especially careful have how I walked, slowing down my stride, and given up horse back riding. The falls I took placed great stress on my joints, hips, knees, and lower back. Long story short, the good doctor has lost a patient for good. I will never allow this person to examine me again. I will never use East Tennessee Medical Group again. The treatment I have received from this group since reaching my 62 birthday has been less than stellar. No one deserves to be treated in such a mean, hateful and cruel way, especially when said patient was in excruciating pain, could barely walk, and exhausted due to lack of sleep. I considered filing a review with the state medical board, but instead decided to post a review on this site first. I will pray in earnest that someone on the medical review board will eventually conduct a review on Dr. Kuhl's unprofessional conduct toward his patients. I know I'm not the only patient he has treated so poorly. My uncle was also a patient of his a few years ago and was subjected to the same type of verbal abuse, lack of caring from Dr. Kuhl. His bedside manner has a lot to be desired. His uncaring attitude, verbally abusive tone is unacceptable. Another incident with this doctor was the misdiagnoses on me in 2013. He kept insisting the pain in my chest, running down my left arm, and shortness of breath was heart related. First off I have no relatives who have ever had heart problems. Secondly, it took two trips to the emergency room and 7 months to get this man to refer me to a gastroenterology specialist. As it turned out my gall bladder was on the verge of shutting down. The emergency room doctor on my 2nd visit discovered the problem and thank goodness he did. Otherwise I probably would not be sitting here filing a review 6 years later. Dr Rothrock was able to diagnose my knee problem without invasive surgery that was previously recommended by another doctor. I am very appreciative of a doctor that doesn’t rush into surgery when there are better options.

MJP Family dental has been trying to collect money from us for a cleaning they never did. We don't even know this dentist. His name is Dr Katz. They have been harassing us for payment for a service they didn't do. A previous dentist that used to own the business did the cleaning. MJP Family dental coded the claim incorrectly and our insurance rejected the claim. MJP Family Dental would not resubmit the claim to our insurance company. They sent us to Collections because we wouldn't pay the bill. We are not paying it because it was covered 100% under our insurance. They refuse to resubmit the claim with the corrected TAX ID number. Yes we have been in contact with them but they just want money from us not the insurance company. And then they continue to call us to pay this bill after they turned it over to Collections. Carmen Epstein called after this account was turned over to the Collection Agency. That is not even allowed!! Pretty sad that they feel the need to do that to older people. We ALWAYS paid our bills. Never been turned over to Collections. This was in August of 2018. It's now 2 And a half years later and they need to get it together! Something not right is going on!

I was impressed front my first meeting with Dr. Smith. Not only was he professional, well spoken and personable, but he had a very efficiently run office. Everything about my experience from pre surgical visit, surgery to post surgical visit was outstanding. I had put off this surgery for years because I don't deal well with western med - Dr Smith took this objection away with his method of care delivery. Also, of note, Dr Smith's PA, Tim, only complimented Dr Smith's approach. Tim visited me the morning after surgery in the hospital with empathy and positive words. I was delighted with the whole experience.

I am ABSOLUTLEY APPALLED!!! At this Dr's staff a women named Gloria. She was so rude nasty and I was a new patient trying to make an appointment. Her English-speaking was marginal at best. The reason for this post. When I asked her to slow down as she was attempting SHE WAS SPEAKING WAY TO FAST to give me the address with her horrible accent. She got belligerent telling me all I the things I was doing wrong..... And then HUNG UP ON ME . NOT ONCE NOT TWICE THREEEEE TIMES!!!! I DID not use foul language I did not belittle her she needs a dose of how to. Handle people. I don't know how she even got a customer service position. This Dr. Came highly recommended, however the only reason I am keeping this appt. Is to go in there to have this Dr. Make her give me a public apology. I can not EXPRESS how disgustingly inappropriate she behaved. She needs to go back to school and learn how to trrst people with the utmost respect and patience . If she can not handle a front desk job in a small practice, that Is just terrible. WE ARE IN AMERICA. THE FIRST LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH. IF YOU ARE COMING HERE TO MY COUNTRY THAT I FAUGHT FOR U. S. NAVY. Dr Paracha is an excellent surgeon. I met him in the er at St.Catherines. He explained everything in detail to me what needed to be done before hand. He was very understanding about all my fears and took the time to reassure me that everything would be fine. He made me feel very comfortable with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Also everyone in his office was very friendly and went out of their way to provide excellent after care. I received excellent medical care from Dr.Paracha and I highly recommend to anyone.
