craig berry, 141 franklin pl, woodmere, NY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

-------Dr. Craig Berry is one inconsiderate money grubbing fellow that is interested in one thing only ------namely making lots of money. The patient for him does not exist--- only how much money is involved for his service !! I showed him my authorization for a root canal-- He looked at my x ray for 3 seconds--- never looked into my mouth and then said "I can't do anything for you" !!!!!! Immediately I understood that Dr. Berry was not happy with the money my insurance company was going to pay for his service. So why why did he make me go to all the trouble and come to his office (by car service because I have a disability and cant walk easily) and then sit for two hours---- all for nothing If you are looking for an endodontist----- this is one guy you want to avoid

I decided to write this review regarding Dr. Craig Berry (endodontist) so as to warn everybody about his guy. In one short plain sentence-------He is one inconsiderate money grubbing fellow that is interested in one thing only ------namely making lots of money. The patient for him does not exist--- only how much money is involved for his service !! I went to hlm for a root canal and he urged me to get the authorization from my insurance company to allow him to go ahead with the work. It was not easy to do and took me four weeks and many phone calls to get it done (and that was working with his office too). Finally it came to me and I made an appointment to see him. I got to the office---- sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and then he calls me in to sit in the dental chair---- and asks me what he can do for me. I showed him the authorization for the root canal-- He looked at the x ray for 3 seconds--- never looked into my mouth and then said "I can't do anything for you" !!!!!! To say I was upset is an understatement !!!!--- I begged him to do the root canal and he got real angry---- the more I talked the angrier he got---- I even asked him if he could just clean out the cavity and not do the root canal--- just remove the cavity---- he did not not want to touch me. So I left the office in a rage---- To add "insult to injury" ---- before I had an opportunity to get further advice about the root canal, it got worse--- my face got swollen and I had to have the tooth extracted Thanks to this GUY.

I couldn't reschedule my appointment because I had cancelled too many appointments. I would have to talk to an office manager. That's a lot of crap!

Dr. Chen, 7660 Covington Highway, Lithonia, GA

Rating: 5 out of 5.

No one wants to have a tooth extracted, but I had to, and I found Dr. Chen and his staff to be an excellent provider of care. He and his staff is very professional. Dr. Chen is sure of himself, but yet very gentle. Dr. Chen is my new dentist of choice! Dr. Chen explained the procedure thoroughly and talked to me about replacement options he could provide once the gum and bone healed. He sensed my anxiety and offered me nitrous and music to enjoy during the procedure. Although, I had never had nitrous before, I accepted because I was quite nervous. I had a menu of music to choose from and headphones to enjoy. His assistant started the nitrous and music selection about 10 minutes before the procedure. After about 3 min I didn’t have a care in the world. While Dr. Chen extracted my tooth, I was laying on the beach with a refreshing drink in hand (so I felt ). The procedure went swiftly, without pain or agony, and I was on my way in no time. Dr. Chen even gave me a surprise call the next morning to check on my condition, and to see if I had any questions. It’s been one week now, and my gum is closed and healing well. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Dr. Chen & Staff!

I was referred by my dentist as he felt it would be a difficult extraction & going to surgeon would allow me anesthesia. I explained this Mudugno he said no just novocain & started to remove the tooth before the local was fully in effect. I asked again for at least gas he told me I didn't need it. He had to break the tooth in 4 pieces, he left the room 3 different times looking for equipment to remove the tooth all the while I was shaking and asking for something for pain to which he ignored. Once he finally got the tooth out I asked if I needed antibiotics & again was ignored when I repeated it he yelled no & walked out, never explaining why I wouldn't need it if the tooth had been rotten under the crown. This man is barbaric, must hate his job. I followed the written instructions to the letter & continued to have pain & increased swelling After 4 days of my face still swollen & still in pain I went to a walk in medical & was promptly told it was infected & given strong antibiotics
