John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, Washington
Another Lenka Stankova hurting the war fighters. John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, was charged with making false statements, concealment of material facts and falsification of a record or document tied to a failure to report more than $15,000 in cash, casino chips and other gifts from contractors. The Justice Department announced the charges on Wednesday, accusing him of “accepting, and sometimes demanding, extravagant gifts from a group of contractors and subcontractors who worked on the project he was overseeing.” As the indictment notes, Windom was aware of the rules regarding reporting gifts and receipts, per training for officials. “An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law,” the Justice Department said in its release. In 2018, the 10-year contract was awarded to Cerner (now known as Oracle Health after Oracle acquired it). Windom was appointed as Executive Director of the Office of Electronic Record Modernization in 2017 and helped supervise the VA’s choice of Cerner for the contract. According to the grand jury indictment against him, Windom used his position to take money and gifts from a group of business executives from information technology and consulting companies who were contractors on the project. According to the indictment, Windom allegedly called them “the Power Group.” Windom used his role to “encourage, monitor, and facilitate contract and subcontracting opportunities for members of the Power Group, related and unrelated to the EHRM project.” Windom was allegedly given payment in everything from cash, to $8,200 in Louis Vuitton gift cards and $1,800 in casino chips. He was also given a High Efficiency Particulate Air, or HEPA, filter worth $631. The indictment also accuses Windom of using his position to “coerce” payments and gifts from others. Per the indictment, Windom “repeatedly reminded Power Group members to remain loyal and directed them to maintain confidentiality and their relationship with him.” In one message at the start of 2020, Windom messaged Power Group members, telling them that “loose lips sink ships.” Windom’s initial contract was extended, and in 2022 he was reassigned to serve as deputy director of the Federal electronic Health Modernization Office, a joint VA and Department of Defense project. Nine years after the modernization effort started, the Electronic Health Record program is used by only a handful of VA sites, with the program hit by glitches and usability issues. The VA paused the program in 2023, but is expected to roll out at several sites this year. Windom faces a maximum sentence of over 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts. Kenneth Wayne Hast, Dallas, TX
Be prepared to lose your money. Wayne Hast peddles high risk 506(b) alternative investments. Look up Realta wealth and Titan securities. Wayne was with Titan securities and they had so many complaints they are no longer in business. After Titan went out of business he went with Realta. Realta has had numerous complaints about inappropriate investments. Beware! I filed a complaint with FINRA against Realta with detailed discussion of Wayne’s part in my losses. His brother, Jim hast, sent me the following email: “Martha I continue to hear that you are slandering my name in word and print. I have done nothing but been helpful to you and your family. If this continues, I will take legal action. I do know that you already have multiple suits against you that are in preparation to be filed for libel and slander. I may join in those initiatives if you do not retract your slanderous statements. I need a sincere apology from you! You need to apologize to Wayne also who only tried to help you.” The dispute with Jim involves a car he sold me that Wayne claimed had been impeccably maintained. When my daughter took it to a mechanic, the mechanic said it looked like the oil had rarely been changed and the brake fluid was dirty. But that isn’t the issue I have with this email. This appears to be a poorly veiled threat against me for filing a FINRA complaint that Wayne must now disclose on brokercheck. I’ll let you be the judge of that. It is interesting that Jim has retracted the email. Fortunately I had sent it to my attorney and have screen shots of it. It is a sad statement of what kind of business I am dealing with if Realta and Wayne feel it is necessary to threaten me with libel and slander for filing a FINRA complaint. This would make a good plot for a soap opera. Wayne is the godfather of my 2 daughters I adopted from China as a single parent!

Bober, Main St Ostervile MA
Dr Bober is a chiropractor who is extremely knowledgeable in nutrition. I originally made an appt to hear what he had to say about weight loss. I felt that I was 45 lbs over weight. I had my daughters wedding and surgery coming up in 3 months and wanted to loose 30 lbs. The only medical issue I have is hypertension controlled on meds. Not only did I loose the wt but found that certain foods aggregated my osteo-arthritis. And for the first time in 20-30 years able to sit on the floor with my legs crossed. I have rings (my ggm) that now fit over my knuckle. My primary goals ended up being secondary as movement keeps us young and vital. I have never felt so good in 20-30years. At the age of 68 working strong!
