service we receeived, State Road 200, Ocala, FL
Mason Day was the sales person that I worked with when I bought my new Kia at Jenkins Kia Dealer. Mason went out of his way to be helpful. Never tried to push me into a deal, it felt like I had known him for years. He went out of his way to help me get the car I wanted. I got the best service I ever had in all the years I have been buying cars

Bill Luke Fiat Tempe, 7799 S Autoplex Loop, Tempe, AZ
I bought my car back in February (maybe end of January) and when I was about to leave the lot, I noticed the wrench light was on. I told the salesman (who was sitting right next to me) and his response was "oh yeah that's okay they probably just forgot to turn the light off, they are really busy right now so I'd suggest calling and bringing it in another time to get that turned off." A couple of weeks later, I went onto their website to schedule this appointment, I never got a call back. My mindset is that if it's just a light that needs to be turned off, I'm not going to make it a priority to get my car in because I'm already very busy. So when my oil light came on last week, I called to make an appointment for that and noted that I'd like for the wrench light to be turned off as well. They told me I had to go to Kia (a completely different dealership) to get this fixed since my car is a Kia. So I took it to Kia and get a phone call from the service man saying that the check engine light is on because there is a broken auxiliary battery temp sensor due to someone breaking it while installing the battery. I immediately said okay I'm going to call Bill Luke because I have not touched that battery since I got the car it must have happened before I bought it. After speaking with the general manager (Steve) he was not helpful or sympathetic what so ever. I told him what happened and he said because I waited "8 months" to get this checked, there wasn't anything they could do about it. I told him that had I known something was wrong I would've taken it in immediately but since his salesman told me it was okay, I didn't make it a priority. He kept saying it was the customer's fault (me) for waiting that long to get it checked. I then asked him if I was understanding correctly, his salesman sold me a car with the wrench light on, told me it was nothing and it just needed to be turned off and now that I find out something is actually wrong with it they won't do anything to make this right. He continued to repeat himself saying that it's been "8 months" and I shouldn't have waited that long to check. This is the worst customer service I have ever recieved, and when I bought my car and my fiance's car the next weekend from them they can't spare the money to make something right that they did wrong? I'm completely outraged and will NEVER refer them to anyone or go there again.

Cheddar's Casual Cafe, 925 State Rd 7, Wellington, FL, 33414
Check #3211, Table 14/1 Server 199 Ashley C date 2/22/2020. Wait for table 1/2 hr(that was fine), seated & waited approx 6 mins for server to take drink order (3 adults, 3 children, 6 & 10), another 5 or 6 mins for drinks to be served, 10 mins before taking order, 40 mins before salads served & another 10 - 12 mins for entrees, Drinks not refilled & no silverware on table, had to go looking for it. When finished meal, which was hot & ok except steak was a little tough. Had to go & find manager to get the bill to pay. We did say something about the service to the manager & she did compensate part of the bill. But the server never came back to our table the manager worked with us. Unfortunately, this was our 2nd bad experience with Cheddar's recently, previously we had enjoy so wanted to give Cheddar's another chance. I do have to say that it is most likely we will not return. John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, Washington
Another Lenka Stankova hurting the war fighters. John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, was charged with making false statements, concealment of material facts and falsification of a record or document tied to a failure to report more than $15,000 in cash, casino chips and other gifts from contractors. The Justice Department announced the charges on Wednesday, accusing him of “accepting, and sometimes demanding, extravagant gifts from a group of contractors and subcontractors who worked on the project he was overseeing.” As the indictment notes, Windom was aware of the rules regarding reporting gifts and receipts, per training for officials. “An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law,” the Justice Department said in its release. Top Stories This Week News Army raises enlistment age to 42, eases marijuana restrictions Patty Nieberg News Pentagon wants to increase naval, special operations capabilities on Greenland Nicholas Slayton Tech & Tactics French sailor goes running, reveals flagship’s location via fitness app Nicholas Slayton The VA began a project to modernize its health records in 2017, aiming to digitize information, an initiative estimated to cost $16 billion, but has since exceeded that and is expected to cost as much as $37 billion. In 2018, the 10-year contract was awarded to Cerner (now known as Oracle Health after Oracle acquired it). Windom was appointed as Executive Director of the Office of Electronic Record Modernization in 2017 and helped supervise the VA’s choice of Cerner for the contract. According to the grand jury indictment against him, Windom used his position to take money and gifts from a group of business executives from information technology and consulting companies who were contractors on the project. According to the indictment, Windom allegedly called them “the Power Group.” Windom used his role to “encourage, monitor, and facilitate contract and subcontracting opportunities for members of the Power Group, related and unrelated to the EHRM project.” Windom was allegedly given payment in everything from cash, to $8,200 in Louis Vuitton gift cards and $1,800 in casino chips. He was also given a High Efficiency Particulate Air, or HEPA, filter worth $631. The indictment also accuses Windom of using his position to “coerce” payments and gifts from others. Per the indictment, Windom “repeatedly reminded Power Group members to remain loyal and directed them to maintain confidentiality and their relationship with him.” In one message at the start of 2020, Windom messaged Power Group members, telling them that “loose lips sink ships.” Windom’s initial contract was extended, and in 2022 he was reassigned to serve as deputy director of the Federal electronic Health Modernization Office, a joint VA and Department of Defense project. Nine years after the modernization effort started, the Electronic Health Record program is used by only a handful of VA sites, with the program hit by glitches and usability issues. The VA paused the program in 2023, but is expected to roll out at several sites this year. Windom faces a maximum sentence of over 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts. Patrick worked long and hard to not only find me the right car, but to get me financed. I wanted a sporty car, he helped me to understand traveling back and forth from RI to NY weekends and holidays, especially in the winter, probably wasn't the best idea. We went with a Jeep, and grandpa willingly cosigned. thanks, Patrick you're the best. Happy sales!
