Jawaria Khan, NYS Justice Center, Delmar, NY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Jawaria Khan is a nightmare of a boss. She's the internal audit director of the NYS justice center. She has no clue how to audit and treats her staff horribly. She will tell you that she wants to hear your opinion but if you disagree with her, she will snap and never include you in the work environment. Please, anyone that comes across this person in a work environment, run and don't waste your time. She's the worst boss you can ever have. She is a bully, passive aggressive, and treats staff like garbage. Don't work for her at all!!!!

John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, Washington

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Another Lenka Stankova hurting the war fighters. John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, was charged with making false statements, concealment of material facts and falsification of a record or document tied to a failure to report more than $15,000 in cash, casino chips and other gifts from contractors. The Justice Department announced the charges on Wednesday, accusing him of “accepting, and sometimes demanding, extravagant gifts from a group of contractors and subcontractors who worked on the project he was overseeing.” As the indictment notes, Windom was aware of the rules regarding reporting gifts and receipts, per training for officials. “An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law,” the Justice Department said in its release. In 2018, the 10-year contract was awarded to Cerner (now known as Oracle Health after Oracle acquired it). Windom was appointed as Executive Director of the Office of Electronic Record Modernization in 2017 and helped supervise the VA’s choice of Cerner for the contract. According to the grand jury indictment against him, Windom used his position to take money and gifts from a group of business executives from information technology and consulting companies who were contractors on the project. According to the indictment, Windom allegedly called them “the Power Group.” Windom used his role to “encourage, monitor, and facilitate contract and subcontracting opportunities for members of the Power Group, related and unrelated to the EHRM project.” Windom was allegedly given payment in everything from cash, to $8,200 in Louis Vuitton gift cards and $1,800 in casino chips. He was also given a High Efficiency Particulate Air, or HEPA, filter worth $631. The indictment also accuses Windom of using his position to “coerce” payments and gifts from others. Per the indictment, Windom “repeatedly reminded Power Group members to remain loyal and directed them to maintain confidentiality and their relationship with him.” In one message at the start of 2020, Windom messaged Power Group members, telling them that “loose lips sink ships.” Windom’s initial contract was extended, and in 2022 he was reassigned to serve as deputy director of the Federal electronic Health Modernization Office, a joint VA and Department of Defense project. Nine years after the modernization effort started, the Electronic Health Record program is used by only a handful of VA sites, with the program hit by glitches and usability issues. The VA paused the program in 2023, but is expected to roll out at several sites this year. Windom faces a maximum sentence of over 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts. Dr. Thomas Varner, Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Fall, NY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I gave the receptionist all of the insurance information which was related to my motor vehicle accident. The receptionist and another staff member kept pressuring me to give them my personal health insurance information. I did not give them my health insurance card and contacted my health insurance provider when I arrived home. The representative said I did the right thing by not submitting it. They would have only rejected the payment because it was a motor vehicle claim. The only valid reason for requesting my card would have been to update my information if I was already a current patient if that practice. I was not. My concern is that the intent was to attempt to double bill the motor insurance company and my health insurance company. I will report this incident to NYS Health Dept and the NYS Better Business Bureau. I was very uncomfortable be pressured by the staff to surrender my health insurance card. I wish I had walked out of the office and not have been seen there.

Sometimes unprofessional. As stated in employee handbook no cell phone use or posting on social media about the work place. I however saw a post on social media stating how they were conducting an interview and someone spit water on the person who was being interviewed. I found that very unprofessional as an assistant director to be posting that on social media.

Growing Brilliant PreSchool Academy, Lisa Hansen, Roseville, CA

Rating: 1 out of 5.

New school with much promise. Owner Lisa Hansen hired and placed teachers prior to being fingerprinted cleared. Community Care Licensing came to the center unannounced and Type A violations were given. Not a good environment for children or staff.

Kyle R. Flik, Everett Rd., Albany, NY, 12054

Rating: 1 out of 5.

This doctor was recommended as a dr. who could relieve the condition on my left knee where fluid had accumulated. He did not even touch my knee. He talked to my daughter and not me. My daughter was there because she drove me to the office. I tried to get him to understand that I was the patient, but was ignored. He said I should see a plastic surgeon. None of the doctors I questioned thought that wass swhat I should do. I have been to a very nice drl at the bone and joint center in Albany new York.. He is going to operate on the sac in my knee sometime in May when'hopefully' some of the medical scare in the country is lessened I would not recommend him to anyone.

Ref Dr. IRVELYNE J. CAMILLE In 40 years of going to a gynecologist I never had a bad exam or experience until now. Dr. Irvelyne Camille said I had herpes without even requesting a blood test which is the ONLY way to confirm that you have herpes. I am 65 and been married over 28 years. Then she took a so-called sample (again – the only way to know for sure you have herpes is through a blood test) and she left me sore for over a week. To not trust this doctor at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY.
