The team was prompt in responding to my queries and assisted me in fulfilling the necessary requirements for my visa. I went to him with facial oedema, he prescribed one steroid tablet. He obviously has no idea how the lymphatic system works and I’ve had to work it out for myself. Had I not done so, the effects could have been fatal with breast cancer I managed on my own. He didn’t like my cholesterol levels of 7.3 and amended my driving licence to show I had a reviewable medical condition. I refused statins which he didn’t like. He told me to not eat pork, chicken skin and lay off the salt! On ringing the medical unit of the state dept of transport they burst out laughing at his reaction and I was able to get my licence fully restored. Some years ago I spoke to a since retired doctor at the same practice about an itching on my chest that was prolonged and he said it was insect bites. A check up 2 years later at a skin cancer clinic in Cairns diagnosed a basal cell carcinoma. I do not go there anymore.
